Artemisinin- What is it?

Artemisinin also known as Wormwood or Sweet Annie is a plant with powerful
medicinal properties. The Chinese have used this plant for its medicinal purposes for
at least 2000 years. A power tea can be made by brewing it’s leaves.
Artemisinin contains a peroxide group that treats and results in the production of
radicals that attack parasites in the body. It reaches peak plasma levels within hours after administration and acts rapidly.

Artemisinin also has anti-cancer properties.
Artemisinin is effective against a wide variety of cancers as shown in a series of successful studies. The most effective is leukemia and colon cancer. Studies were also shown against melanoma, breast, ovarian, prostate and renal cancer. Although Artemisinin is insoluble in water, it is able to cross the blood brain barrier and may be particularly suitable for curing brain tumours.
While Artemisinin is a powerful and effective plant a combination of nutritional supplements such as green tea and pancreatic enzyme, as well as a good anti-cancer diet aka alkaline diet is required for it’s full benefits.
