Artemisinin- What is it?

Artemisinin also known as Wormwood or Sweet Annie is a plant with powerful

medicinal properties. The Chinese have used this plant for its medicinal purposes for

at least 2000 years. A power tea can be made by brewing it’s leaves.
Artemisinin contains a peroxide group that treats and results in the production of

radicals that attack parasites in the body. It reaches peak plasma levels within hours after administration and acts rapidly.

Artemisinin is effective against a wide variety of cancers as shown in a series of successful studies. The most effective is leukemia and colon cancer.
